The PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) is online poker's premier tournament series. Every player, from those just cutting their teeth in the poker world to elite-level professionals, dreams of becoming a WCOOP champion, thanks to the prestige of the series and, of course, the massive top prizes offered.

The 2024 WCOOP is scheduled to run from September 8 through October 2, and PokerStars is hosting the inaugural WCOOP Boot Camp. Running August 4-19, the WCOOP Boot Camp is a mini-series featuring 80 numbered events (160 tournaments) with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $1,050.

The WCOOP Boot Camp schedule, which includes a $109 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Main Event with $1,000,000 guaranteed on August 18, is designed to help players prepare for the flagship WCOOP festival and increase their chances of becoming PokerStars champions.

Haoran Cai raised from early position and was called by both Alper Gocer in late position and Tobias Kirby-Hogarty in the small blind.

The flop came QK3 and Cai continued for 20,000. Gocer called before Kirby-Hogarty raised it up to 72,000. Cai and Gocer mucked and Kirby-Hogarty won the pot.

Foster Wins Pot With Turn Bet

The flop came 910K and Foster bet 31,000. Geraghty made the call and the big blind folded. The turn was the K and Foster bet again, this time for 40,000. Geraghty folded and Foster won the pot.

The board ran out 75Q34. It was a sick runout. Bascombe made a set of queens on the flop, leaving Sandford drawing very thin. Sandford picked up a backdoor straight draw on the turn and completed his straight on the river.

He let out a cheer as the four fell on the river, scooping a double up and leaving Bascombe short.

The flop came A86. McKola checked and Bereciartua bet 14,000, which McKola called. Both players then checked it back on the Q turn.

The river was the 10 and McKola led for 28,000. Bereciartua called and then mucked his hand when McKola showed A5 for the ace high flush.
