Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Christian Choca Archinaut
Christian Choca Archinaut

Tedium had set in across the room, the last few levels slow, the time ticking into the early hours of the morning. Nothing seemed to be happening. Until, over on Table 4, a pot had suddenly developed with three players all in.

Christian Choca Archinaut moved all in from under the gun for around ten big blinds. Darius Demetriou flat called in middle position. Then, Jamie Geraghty pushed all in over the top. Demetriou called the shove and three players pushed their chips in and flipped their cards.

Jamie Geraghty: AA

The board ran out Q7778. All three players made a full house. Geraghty had the best of it with his aces. He won the pot and eliminated both Archinaut and Demetriou.

That means 29 players will return in the money for Day 2.
