Spragg and McKola Among Final Six as UKIPT Brighton Main Event Plays Down to Winner
It's time for the Final Day of the PokerStars UKIPT Brighton Main Event, running at the Rendezvous Casino. There are now just six players remaining in contention for the title and the tournament will play down to a winner today.
The Main Event attracted a total of 352 entries, which made for a prize pool of £337,920. The next player to be eliminated will take £13,700 and the outright winner is set for a payday of £69,120.
The players who remain are a high profile bunch. PokerStars Team Pro player Benjamin Spragg and PokerStars ambassador Adam McKola are in with a shot, although they currently sit in fifth and sixth, respectively, and will need to spin up their stacks to reach the top spots.
Dominik Nitsche, who is fifth on Germany’s all-time money list with over $20 million in live tournament cashes, is out in front with over a million chips more than second place Sebastian Gohr, who qualified for the event via satellite.
Alessandro Spina is in second place and Oliver Hutchins, who got through to the event by winning a Silver Power Pass on PokerStars, currently sits in third place.
