Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Elliott Hayes opened for 50,000 under the gun plus one and action folded to Michael Fletcher on the button. He three bet to 120,000 and both blinds quickly released. Hayes asked how much it was, and just about instantly called.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Hayes knocked on the table. His check made Fletcher bet 150,000 and Hayes wasted not much time shoving all in for 574,000 total. Fletcher snap called.

Michael Fletcher: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Both the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Diamonds} on the river were blanks, and Hayes shook hands with the tournament director and was escorted to the pay out desk.

"Good call" Arzoomanian commented. "I knew what he was going to do, [that's why] I snap called"Fletcher replied.

The remaining 7 players are guaranteed £4,500 from here on out.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Paren Arzoomanian opened to 40,000 from middle position and Elliott Hayes two positions down called from the cutoff. The button and both blinds folded, and the two of 'em went heads up to the flop.

Arzoomanian fired 65,000 on the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, 130,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn, and 250,000 on the {A-Clubs} river.

Elliott Hayes called all three streets rather quickly, only to muck upon seeing Arzoomanian's {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

"Unlucky mate, got the ace I assume?" Arzoomanian said. "Yep" Haye replied.

Chris Swinden

Chris Swinden, 39, an executive chef for the Sefton Group, won his seat in the UKIPT Isle of Man Main Event via a £50 Lads Night In charity evening satellite. He’s turned his first UKIPT experience into a three-dayer, making the final table in middling chip position after a relatively smooth journey, having only been all in once. Starting in home games around ten years ago, the Isle of Man resident was introduced to poker by his father-in-law and now plays live infrequently but regularly, including trips to Vegas where he plays mostly cash.

Elliott Hayes

Elliott Hayes is a 24-year old hailing from Jersey who by day works in retail but by night likes to play a mixture of online cash games and tournaments, particularly at PokerStars. Elliott is in the Isle of Man with several of his friends from Jersey so is likely to be well supported when the final table commences. It was at PokerStars where Elliott has tasted the success the most, winning a couple of “The Big” nightly tournaments and one during the Carnival Series during the Billionth tournament celebrations.
