Eibinger Continues to Heat Up Before Dinner

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Paul Phua looked down at {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and opened to 7,000 from under the gun, Kristen Bicknell called in the hijack with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Matthias Eibinger three-bet to 28,500 on the button with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Phua was the only caller and the dealer spread out {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, hitting a trey for Phua to take the lead. Phua check-called a bet of 18,000 from Eibinger and the {7-Spades} peeled off on the turn.

Both players checked the turn and a {j-Hearts} completed the board. Phua led out for 41,000 and Eibinger raised to 150,000 with his newly acquired set of jacks.

Phua took his time but in the end, he called and Eibinger turned over his rivered set of jacks. Phua mucked in disgust as Eibinger took down the pot.
