Dwan Sends Yong to the Rail

With about 115,000 in the pot on a board showing Peter Jetten was first to act. He put out a bet of 40,000. Wai Kin Yong was next to act and he raised, making it 155,000. Tom Dwan was on the button and he raised as well, putting in a three-bet to 1,000,000, enough to cover both players. Jetten folded and Yong dropped into the tank. He thought through multiple time banks before deciding to call.

Dwan had a straight but still needed to fade a board pair in order to seal the deal. He did so as the dropped on the river and that would earn him the pot, putting him over 2,500,000. Yong, on the other hand, was eliminated from the tournament, bringing the field down to two tables.
