Badziakouski Eliminates Sass in a Massive Pot
Mikita Badziakouski came back with the shortest stack but the first hour of play saw him sky-rocket close to the chip lead. Badziakouski won several decent pots but neither was as big as the latest one.
We caught the action on the flop with four people contesting the pot. Alan Sass bet 80,000 in the cutoff, Badziakouski called on the button and Gabe Patgorski joined them to the turn while Wang Qiang folded his hand.
The turn was checked to Badziakouski who fired 200,000. Only Sass stuck around, calling and they came to the river.
Sass checked and Badziakouski jammed for about 700,000, having his opponent covered. Sass extended his allotted time to make a decision and then made the call.
Badziakouski showed for a flopped straight and Sass mucked his hand before leaving his seat. Badziakouski claimed the huge pot and improved to just under 2 million.
