Hao Busts Hartman, Holz Joins

Level 5 : 250/500, 50 ante
Craig Hartman
Craig Hartman

There has been a third casualty with Craig Hartman falling at the hands of Su Hao, with all the chips finding their way into the middle pre-flop when a raising war developed between the two.

While we missed the exact betting it appeared that Hartman, sitting on the button, was the man to pull the trigger first moving all-in for a little over 38,000 as a three-bet and judging by Hartman’s wince when he got called rather quickly by Hao, this was not a good thing.

Craig Hartman: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Su Hao: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

While Hartman was not in great shape the {10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} put him in front for all of one street until the {q-Hearts} hit the turn to give Hao middle set. The {10-Spades} river gave Hao a full house and sent Hartman to the rail.

It did not take long to fill the US player’s seat, however, with German wunderkind Fedor Holz taking Hartman’s former seat and immediately raising Devan Tang’s big blind to start his tournament the way we imagine he means to continue.
