Fast: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Burns: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

A race for Fast's tournament life was underway as the dealer delivered a {4-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades} board. Fast wasn't able to improve and bowed out in fifth place banking HK $4,607,000 (US $590,425).

Stephen Chidwick Eliminated in 6th Place (HK $3,436,000)

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick - Fedor Holz
Stephen Chidwick - Fedor Holz

Fedor Holz opened from the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind. The flop fanned out {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Chidwick led out with a bet that Holz flatted.

The {a-Clubs} hit on the turn and Chidwick checked once more. Holz bet 395,000 and Chidwick check-raised to 1,000,000. Holz called.

The {q-Hearts} completed the board and Chidwick moved all-in for 1,635,000 sending Holz into the tank. About four and a half minutes went by before John Juanda called the clock. Just after Holz was given a 30-second warning, he made the call.

Chidwick tabled {8-Spades}{7-Spades}, missing an up and down straight draw and Holz won the hand with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Chidwick earns HK $3,436,000 (US $440,380) for sixth place.

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Poker Hall of Fame member John Juanda is on the comeback trail and has come from the bottom to almost the top.

In a recent pot with Adrian Mateos, Juanda opened to 180,000 under-the-gun and Mateos called from early position. The flop was {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Juanda continued with a bet of 180,000. Mateos called bringing the {10-Hearts} on the turn. Juanda check-called a bet of 225,000 from Mateos and the {5-Clubs} completed the board.

Both players checked and Juanda won the pot with {a-}{k-}.

Juanda Doubles Through Burns

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

John Juanda open-jammed from the cutoff for 1,150,000 and Kahle Burns put him at risk calling from the big blind.

Juanda: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Burns: {j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Juanda was dominated but a nine on the {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop changed that quickly. The {6-Spades} on the turn gave Burns a flush draw but Juanda was able to fade with the {k-Hearts} on the river and doubled up.
