Two for Dee

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante

From early position, RJ Sullivan raised to 1,400. Dave Dee reraised from the next seat to 5,000 and behind him Robert Emmert called in the hijack seat. Action folded back to Sullivan, and he folded as well, leave Dee and Emmert heads up to the flop. The flop came down {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, and Dee bet 6,000. Emmert folded, and Dee won the pot.

On the next hand, Dee opened to 2,000 from under the gun, and the player in the cutoff seat made the call. The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}, and Dee bet 3,500. His opponent folded, and Dee scooped this pot, too.

Dee, whose wife Catherine is seated at the same table in Seat 1 (Dee is in Seat 8), is from England and won two events here in Aruba at the PPC South America Poker Classic back in May for $2,798 and $3,910 each. That same series, his wife won an event as well, taking home $2,480 for her victory. Needless to say, Aruba has treated this happily married couple very well, and they're back here for the PPC Aruba World Championship to try their luck again.
