McClean Flops Trips to Double Up

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Russel McClean raised to 120,000 on the button and Scott Sisler called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Sisler checked to McClean who continued for 60,000. Sisler check-raised to 200,000 and McClean called.

The turn brought the {k-Diamonds} and Sisler bet another 200,000. McClean still called and the {a-Clubs} completed the board. Sisler fired out another bet of 350,000 and McClean shipped all in for 520,000. Sisler confirmed the count and then called. McClean tabled {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for trip nines while Sisler could only muster {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

On the next hand, Jeff Platt opened to 120,000 from under the gun and Michael Lydon shipped all in for 710,000 in the big blind. Platt called and tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} against the {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} of Lydon. The board ran out {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Lydon also doubled up.
