Alsup Flops a Boat

Level 3 : Blinds 200/200, 300 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, three players were still in the hand. Rich Alsup checked from the small blind and Ronald Scott threw in a bet of 2,100 in middle position. Alsup was the only player to call and the {q-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Alsup checked again and Scott announced a bet of 3,000. Alsup check-raised to 7,000 this time and Scott called. The river brought the {9-Spades} and Alsup moved all in. Scott deliberated for a minute with just over 8,000 remaining and eventually threw in his chips.

Alsup turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a full house while Scott could only muster {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for two pair. Alsup collected the pot and Scott was forced to make his way to the registration desk.
