Kapoor and Lopez Butt Heads for the Last Time

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Gianluca Pace opened to 30,000 and Adrian Lopez called. The action was back to Jason Kapoor and he made it 110,000.

Pace folded but Lopez called to see the {3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} spread. Lopez open-shoved for approximately 150,000 and Kapoor called after some thought.

Adrian Lopez: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Jason Kapoor: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Lopez was open-ended but Kapoor was in front with jacks. The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and the river was the {q-Spades} as Kapoor scored the elimination.

Kapoor got some props from the table for his call and has dedicated his play today to a fallen friend.
