Jim Erickson raised on the button to 1.05 million.

"Let's get it over with. It's getting late," said Erickson as he put in the raise.

Timothy Gundrum took about 15 seconds and then announced a raise of his own, sliding forward a stack that may or may not have covered Erickson's.

"I'm all in. Let's get it over with!" said Erickson once more, and Gundrum verbalized a call.

Jim Erickson: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Timothy Gundrum: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Erickson saw his big ace had run into an even bigger one and his hand remained second best as the runout came {2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}. As a result, he finished in second in the tournament for a six-figure payday.

Meanwhile, Timothy Gundrum has claimed victory at MSPT Riverside for the top prize of $170,769. Stay tuned for a tournament recap.
