On a heads-up turn of {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}, the late position player bet 4,000 but was then raised to 11,000 by Richard Dixon.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and the late position player moved all in for hi last 10,500, which made Dixon pause for a second.

"Come on, man, you gotta call," his opponent enticed him, seemingly wanting him to call.

Dixon then gathered the necessary chips and threw them in the middle in a call.

"Alright I missed," he admitted as he showed {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks.

"You got the nine don't you?" he continued. And with that, Dixon flipped over {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} for the bottom end of the straight, which was good enough to scoop the pot and eliminate his opponent.

"Man I almost folded," Dixon admitted as he was pushed the chips.
