Cunniff Flushed Out But Fires Again

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

After telling PokerNews that he'd lost a big hand in a flush-over-flush situation, Gerald Cunniff moved all in from the big blind for a little under 4,000. He was then called by John Tieszen and one other player.

The flop came out {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Tieszen bet 400 into the roughly 10,000 pot and his opponent got out of the way. The cards were then tabled, with Cunniff at risk.

Gerald Cunniff: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
John Tieszen: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Cunniff could still hit a non-heart king or jack, but the turn {5-Hearts} was the dagger and it left him drawing dead as the board completed with the {2-Hearts}.

Cunniff was not going to give up that easily, however, as he headed straight to the registration desk to re-buy.
