Ellis Turns Jacks Up
Level 3
: 200/300, 300 ante
A large pile of 100-chips was in the middle on with four-way action ensuing. Both blinds checked and Chris Ellis bet 1,400 in early position. The player on the button folded, as did the small blind, and then the big blind called to take action heads up to the turn . The small blind then check-called another 1,400 from Ellis, and then action went check-check through the river to take the hand to showdown.
Ellis tabled upon checking back, showing jacks and sevens to earn a muck from his opponent.
"Nice hand," the player added as the pot was sent to Ellis.
