Collins Catching Heat

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Greg Collins
Greg Collins

Greg Collins was just seen having a pot shipped his way to eliminate a short-stacked player, building his stack up to nearly 300,000 in the process. However, he had a stack of 280,000 prior to the hand and confirmed that he had won a huge pot to get him up to 240,000 at the beginning of the level.

In that hand, he went four ways to a flop of {k-}{9-}{5-} with one spade and everybody checked, bringing the turn {a-Spades}. Collins checked and the player on his left bet one-third pot, with a call and a fold ensuing before Collins also called.

The river then fell {5-Spades} to bring a third spade on board, and Collins led out with a down-bet from the amount on the previous street. The player on his left went all in and Collins immediately called when it was his turn to do so.

Opponent: {a-}{10-}-red

Collins has since chipped up a bit and appears to be just shy of 300K, making him one of the largest stacks in the room as the number of players in the tournament continues to drop.
