Day 2 of MSPT $1,100 Venetian Begins at 11 a.m.
The penultimate day of the $1,100 Mid-States Poker Tour Main Event At Venetian begins at 11 a.m. The players will play a full 15 levels before bagging up for tomorrow.
The tournament saw a total of 2,154 entrants come out to play with Tonio Roder leading the remaining 255 players with 874,000. Also bagging large were players like WSOP bracelet winners Roberly Felicio (540,000), Ethan Yau (419,000), and Ronnie Bardah (302,000).
The final 225 players are guaranteed a minimum cash of $2,079 with all eyes on the $294,327 up top, the biggest chunk of the massive $2,078,610 prize pool.
The clock was stopped on level 13 with 18:35 remaining in Flight 1a, so players will come back with blinds at 2,000/3,000 and a 3,000 big blind ante. After this level, the blinds will last 40 minutes each, with a 15-minute break after every three levels. After nine levels, the players will go on a 60-minute dinner break.
