Oberhauser On A Tear

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Valentin Oberhauser
Valentin Oberhauser

Action was picked up on the river in a pot with roughly 63,000 in the center between Kenny Huynh in the small blind and Valentin Oberhauser in middle position.

On a board reading {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Huynh checked to Oberhauser who bet 45,000 which Huynh folded, giving Oberhauser a massive pot.

The following hand, Oberhauser raised to 1,800 in early position and on the button Kenny Huynh three-bet to 6,000 which folded out all other players except for Oberhauser who called.

The flop came out {10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Oberhauser check-called a bet of 4,500 from Huynh.

The {6-Hearts} rolled off on the turn and Huynh bet once more, this time to the tune of 18,000 which Oberhauser once more called.

On the {10-Diamonds} river card, Oberhauser checked a third time to Huynh who bet 45,000 which sent Oberhauser into the tank. After thinking about it for some time he called and Huynh turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for king high, which Oberhauser could beat with his {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for three tens.
