Diaz Triples, Mangold Could Have Lost More

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jason Mangold raised from middle position before Martin DIaz moved all in for 5,600 from the small blind. Taylor Howard called the three-bet from the big blind, and Mangold called as well.

The flop was {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, both Howard and Mangold checked while Diaz watched on.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds}. Howard led for 7,000, and after some thought, Mangold made the call.

The river put out the {k-Hearts}, putting four-to-a-straight on the board. Howard checked, Mangold laughed.

"Are you kidding me? Check," said Mangold, upset at the runout.

Diaz turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the rivered straight. Howard had {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for bottom set while Mangold had {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for turned top two.

"I had the worst hand. You know he's got an ace. I just can't believe it went check-check on the flop," said Mangold.
