The flop was about as good as it gets for Remington when the hit the board, making him the favorite even without a made hand yet. The turn gave him the flush, but he needed to dodge the redraw of his opponent. The river was safe and he locked up the double.
"I didn't think you'd have eight-seven there," his upset opponent vented.
"I'm going to have 12 big blinds next level," said Remington as he raked his new chips.
