Bohn Gets There, Now Over Half a Million

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Blake Bohn
Blake Bohn

Blake Bohn raised to 6,000 from early position and only found one caller, Chris Burke in the big blind.

"Got anything?" asked Bohn, to no response.

The flop showed up {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Burke checked to Bohn who continued for 10,000. After some thought, Burke slid his whole stack of 131,000 into the middle.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to do here," said Bohn. "Why are you shoving?" Bohn said out loud.

"I was happy with it," said Burke.

"You're happy with it?" reiterated Bohn.

"Yeah, with my stack, that was my thought process," said Burke.

"I don't know if I can fold," said Bohn. He didn't fold, he put the chips in.

Chris Burke: {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Blake Bohn: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

"You got a five? So any queen, ten, or club, right?" Bohn narrated.

The turn was none of those cards in the {k-Hearts}, though it added some counterfeit outs. The river was the {8-Clubs}, though, giving Bohn the flush and the winner to vault him to the top of the leaderboard.
