Bohn Drills the Flush, Fliginger Eliminated

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Blake Bohn min-raised the button and found a caller in Thane Fliginger in the big blind.

The flop came out {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Fliginger moved in with his short stack and Bohn made the call.

Thane Fliginger: {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Blake Bohn: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Fliginger had top pair, but Bohn had two overs and the flush draw. He made the unbeatable flush on the {8-Hearts} turn to send Fliginger to the payout line.

Goertz Eliminated By Moen's Flush

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Trent Goertz moved all in from late position for 36,000, six big blinds.

"How much?" asked Chris Moen in the small blind. "36? Yeah, I call," said Moen. The big blind folded and the two flipped over their cards.

Trent Goertz: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Chris Moen: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

"Oh no, I'm behind again," said Moen.

"It'll be a good story for Mark either way," said Goertz, referring to Mark Fink, who was eliminated by Moen himself yesterday.

The board gave Moen all sorts of help when the {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} came out. The flush draw came in immediately when the {9-Spades} hit, leaving Goertz drawing dead. The river {8-Hearts} made it official and Goertz also fell by Moen's hand.

Kitkat Klassen moved all in preflop for 72,000 from early position. Directly on her left, Shane Stegora also moved all in, his total being around 130,000. The rest of the table folded and the two were off to a runout.

Kitkat Klassen: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Shane Stegora: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

"King is coming," said tablemate Luke Blindert.

He was right, the board came out {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Klassen came from behind to secure the double.

Jesse Bowman Bubble
Jesse Bowman Bubble

Jesse Bowman moved all in from early position for 61,000. In late position, Rodney Colson moved all in for more. The rest of the table folded and the two were off to a runout.

Jesse Bowman: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Rodney Colson: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Bowman needed lots of help to avoid being the bubble, but unfortunately couldn't improve and Colson's kings held to leave Bowman one shy of the money.

Nuwwarah Overflushes Estes, Estes Still Alive By Error

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action picked up on the river in a heads-up pot between Mike Estes and Mo Nuwwarah. The full board showed {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and nearly 200,000 was in the middle.

Estes led for 125,000. In position, Mo Nuwwarah slid out 300,000 into the middle and the dealer announced, "Raise." Estes thought the chips were just a call and immediately turned over his {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Seeing Estes turn over his hand caused Nuwwarah to turn over his own {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the better flush.

Given that Estes had never called the raise, he was given the option to fold his hand, and he did fold. He was given a penalty for exposing his hand early, but holds on to a few big blinds in hopes of finding the money.
