Day 2 of the MSPT Bally’s Black Hawk Main Event kicks off at 11 a.m. with 80 players vying for a deep run for the grand prize of $135,507 and for the MSPT points.

Jonathan Olson starts the day as chip leader with 755,000, which is good for 251 big blinds at the start. Olson has $104,000 in career tournament earnings, $95,000 of those coming in his lone MSPT tournament win, coming in Iowa back in 2014.

A well-known name that sits in second place in the chip counts with 627,000 to start the day is Will Givens .The Centennial, CO native has several tournament wins in his career and has collected 2.7 million in career earnings but he has yet to reach the zenith in an MSPT event and he will be looking to change that.

Third in chips is Adrian Buckley with 620,000 who is another highly successful player, having amassed 1.8 million in career earnings.

Kevin Palmer with 474,000 and Michael Monetti with just a hair below that with 464,000 round out the top five stacks.

Notable players abound throughout the remaining lineup of 80 players. Vincent Moscati has 391,000 and starts in seventh place, Scott Stewart enters with 184,000 and DJ Buckley starts the day with 130,000.

Play will begin with 3:00 on the clock at Level 13, where Day 1a finished as the early finishing starting day of the three. The top 72 players will get paid so the start of play will immediately be tense near the money bubble. Levels will remain at 40 minutes in length and breaks will be every three levels.

PokerNews will have all the coverage of this exciting Day 2, which will be sure to bring plenty of twists and turns as the MSPT champion will be crowned.

Miguel Navarro Bubbles MSPT Main Event

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Bally's Black Hawk
Bally's Black Hawk

The board was already completed to read {10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} and an all in and call was announced.

The players waited for all other tables to finish their hands to expose the cards.

Miguel Navarro was the one at risk and showed the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for two-pair but it was a major cooler situation as Dheyaa Al Sammarraie tabled the {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for runner-runner boat and just like that after nearly an hour of hand-for-hand play, the bubble was breached.

Quad Alert For Bullard

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Brady Bullard
Brady Bullard

Action was picked up on the flop as the board read {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, all three players in the hand put chips in the middle as the dealer collected it and dealt the {9-Spades} on the turn.

From under the gun Sergio Sanchez bet 40,000. In the hijack, Brady Bullard called. Brian Leitch folded with some frustration from the big blind.

The river came the {3-Diamonds}. Sanchez checked and Bullard jammed all in for 274,000 into a pot of about 170,000. Sanchez thought for about a minute before he called.

It was the dream scenario for Bullard as he tabled the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for quads to win the massive pot.

Kevin Palmer was all in preflop and at risk holding the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} dominated by the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} of Brady Bullard.

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades} and just like that Palmer was gone after having just knocked out another player.

Michael Monetti Eliminated in 22nd Place ($4,759)

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Michael Monetti jammed from the small blind over a raise from Ben Jensen in the big blind. Jensen thought for a long time before calling.

Michael Monetti: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Ben Jensen: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The flop sent Monetto ahead as it came {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades} to pair his king, and the {5-Hearts} turn kept him firmly in the lead.

"C'mon hold," said Monetti.

All he needed to do was dodge a seven, but that didn't happen as the river was a cruel {7-Clubs}. Monetti did not hold as he had hoped and he was dramatically spilled out of the tournament in 22nd place for $4,759.

Jacob Long Eliminated in 21st Place ($5,685)

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jacob Long
Jacob Long

Brady Bullard raised all in preflop, Devin Garcia and Jacob Long both called.

Bullard had the chance to take out two players with one stone, but would have to come from behind to do so as he held the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Devin Garcia had the middle stack with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Jacob Long was the shortest stack but had the best hand with the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

The flop launched Garcia into the catbird seat as it came {6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and the river came the {3-Diamonds} to give Garcia a near triple up, take a chunk from Bullard and bust Long.

Ricardo Eyzaguirre moved all in preflop and Colin Gordon re-shoved his larger stack to fold everyone else out.

Ricardo Eyzaguirre: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Colin Gordon: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop looked grim for Eyzaguirre as it came {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The turn gave slight hope as the {q-Diamonds} came off but the river was the {2-Spades} to end his run in 20th place.
