Brown Gets Value With the Nut Flush
Stephen Brown saw action fold to him in the cutoff and opened to 4,000. Nahid Toma three-bet to 8,000 on the button and action folded back to Brown, who called. The flop came and Brown checked to Toma, who made a continuation-bet of 19,000. Brown called.
Action checked through the turn and Brown cut out a bet of 40,000 on the river . Toma went into the tank, thinking for close to two full minutes before finding a call.
Brown turned over for the nut flush and the dealer pushed forward the three diamonds on board to confirm. Toma was unable to top it and sent his cards to the muck, earning Brown the pot to bring him near 300,000.
John Sun was also spotted at the table taking the five-seat that was previously occupied by Russell Boyker. Moments later, he was seen earning a double with ace-king and now has 62,000.
