Sun Wins at Showdown Without Showing

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
John Sun
John Sun

Faraz Jaka opened the action with a raise to 1,200 under the gun at a six-handed table and John Sun called on his direct left in the hijack. Action folded around to the big blind, who defended to take action three ways to the streets.

The dealer fanned a flop of {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} and all three players checked. The turn came {k-Diamonds} and the big blind checked again. Jaka bet 3,000 and Sun called, prompting a fold from the big blind thereafter.

The river was {a-Clubs} and Jaka bet again, this time for 7,000. Sun threw in chips to call without wasting any time.

Upon being called, Jaka shot his cards across the table from the five-seat to the muck pile, and Sun proceeded to trade his cards for the pot without needing to show a winner.
