Johnson Puts a Hit on Pelton
Chan Pelton opened to 85,000 in the hijack and received a call from Matt Dodd, who was on the button. Aaron Johnson was in the small blind and three-bet to 115,000. Pelton called and Dodd folded to take action heads up to the streets.
The flop dropped 
and Johnson checked. Pelton bet 85,000 and Johnson called, bringing the turn 
. Both players checked.
The river came 
and Johnson checked once more. Pelton thought for a few moments and announced a bet of 145,000. Johnson then counted out 45,000 of his unfull stack of T5,000 chips and set them atop the rest of his stack of 244,000. He didn't think much longer about the 99,000 he would have left if he made the incorrect call and tossed out the 45,000 to signify the decision he had made.
"Two pair," said Pelton. Johnson immediately turned over
