Sodoma Gets an Elimination

Joseph Sodoma was under the gun and opened to 1,400. He received a call from Sammy Aweida in middle position before a player in the hijack went all in for his last 4,300. There was a dead button in the hand and action folded back to Sodoma, who announced a reraise. Aweida quickly sent his hand to the muck.

The all-in player needed to fade two live cards and stayed out in front as the flop came . However, the turn gave Sodoma nine more outs at a flush. The river then hit the felt, spelling doom for the all-in player as Sodoma completed his backdoor flush to score the elimination and earn the pot.
