Big Stacks Battle in the Blinds
There was a pot with around 200,000 in the middle on the river with the board reading and Umut Ozturk had a bet of 75,000 out in front of him from the small blind. Action was on Miroslav Semanisin, who was in the big blind.
Semanisin thought for well over two minutes as the clock continued to count down, with audible conversation coming from other tables who did not know the magnitude of the hand that was occurring, wondering if they could call a clock on a player at another table.
Eventually, Semanisin pushed forward a stack of chips to call and the dealer announced as such. Ozturk tabled for ace-queen high and Semanisin turned over , taking down the pot with top pair, top kicker on the four-to-a-straight board to vault him over two-thirds of a million in chips.
