The MSPT Season 10 Player of the Year Race is entering the home stretch and right now Mike Shin holds a healthy lead over both Adam Friedman and Brian Wilson.
At the end of the calendar year, the top-ranked player will receive POY recognition and a $10,000 Main Event buy-in for 2020.

After one player limped in early position the action got around to Jim Zeng in the cutoff who raised to 700. The player in the big blind, and the limper called.
The flop came and Zeng put out a continuation bet of 1,000 when the action checked to him. Both of his opponents called.
Action was checked around on the turn card and the big blind led out for 2,500 on the river. The player next to act folded and Zeng raised to 6,000 which got snap called.

After two players had already limped in the action got to Nick Pupillo in the cutoff and he raised it up to 1,100. The first limper re-raised to 3,500, the next limper folded and Pupillo four-bet to 8,500. His opponent called and they went heads up to a flop.
The flop came and the action checked to Pupillo who put out a continuation bet of 4,400. His opponent moved all in and Pupillo quickly called off his last 9,025.

Maurice Hawkins was in early position and raised to 500. Five players called so they went six-ways to a flop of , Hawkins put out a continuation bet of 1,000 and got called by only the big blind.
The turn card was checked around and Hawkins bet 3,000 when the action checked to him on the river. After some thought his opponent put in the chips to call and Hawkins showed which was good enough to take down the pot.

With already 7,000 in the pot, Brandon Lin was facing a bet of 5,000 on a board reading . Lin called and they went to a turn card.
Lin's under the gun opponent moved all in for 13,000 on the turn card and Lin snap called.
