Last December, Brandon Welter won a $30,000 Platinum Pass to the PSPC after having his name drawn for an eight-person heads-up flipament. He won three rounds and a month later was ahead to the Bahamas where he wound up cashing in one of poker's most-anticipated tournaments for $35,000.
Welter has returned to Canterbury Park and is looking for more luck. In a recent hand, the under-the-gun player limped before Welter raised to 3,200 from the hijack.
