Powell Scores Double Elimination with the Nuts

Mike Schneider open-jammed under the gun for 7,400 and was called by Reg Powell on the button. Action was on John Hanner who four-bet alll in for 16,500 from the small blind and was called by Powell after the big blind player folded.

Schneider was ahead with his rockets and was looking good to score a triple-up until the flop hit the felt giving Powell the nut-flush draw while Hanner picked up and open-ended straight draw.

The came on the turn giving Hanner the straight but it also gave Powell the nut-flush and he eliminated both players after the meaningless river completed the board.
