A massive pot just developed at Table 31, beginning with a middle-position raise and a call from cutoff Michael Truman. The small blind three-bet to 1,250, and both of his opponents called. The flop came , and the first player bet 2,750. The opener, Robert Emmert, announced a raise, paused for a bit, then tossed in 7,000. Truman announced a call, and the bettor called as well. On the turn, the first player checked and Emmert moved in for 8,200. Truman called, giving the preflop aggressor pause.
"I probably need one more diamond," he muttered, mucking.
