Andrew Dykeman Eliminated in 5th Place ($22,935)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Andrew Dykeman - 5th Place
Andrew Dykeman - 5th Place

Jeff Klein opened for a raise, and Andrew Dykeman shoved all in for 900,000 or so. Klein thought for awhile before deciding to make the call.

Klein: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Dykeman: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Dykeman's rail loudly called for a queen for the local player, but it was a straight draw appearing on the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. Outs were called out, but a {4-Spades} didn't answer the call. Neither did a {6-Spades} river, which took the air out of the sizable Dykeman contingent.

Boas Picks Off Klein

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Toby Boas defended his big blind from a button min-raise by Jeff Klein. Boas check-called 150,000 on the {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and an {a-Diamonds} was followed by two checks. Boas checked the {9-Clubs} river, and Klein bet 300,000. Boas thought it over for a minute or two and tossed in a call.

Klein showed {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for an airball, and Boas had {9-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Boas Doubles Through Arbaugh

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Toby Boas

Brian Arbaugh raised to 100,000 on the button and called Toby Boas' 250,000 three-bet. Boas opted to check the monotone {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, and Arbaugh bet 200,000. Boas called, and two checks followed the {6-Hearts} turn. Boas checked the {10-Diamonds} river, and Arbaugh said he was all in after thinking briefly. Boas snap-called and tabled {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, as Arbaugh mucked his hand.

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
KC Collins - 6th Place
KC Collins - 6th Place

KC Collins limped under the gun and then called 150,000 from button Jeff Klein on the last hand before break. Collins called off his last 50,00 or so on the {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Klein: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Collins: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Collins picked up some outs on the {3-Hearts} turn with a gutter, but the board paired harmlessly on the {2-Spades} river.

Boas, Arbaugh Continue Battling

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

It seems clear that Toby Boas and Brian Arbaugh are destined for a big clash. Boas has already three-bet Arbaugh multiple times from his left, but in one recent pot he opted to call a raise to 95,000 in a blind battle. Boas called another 105,000 on the {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, and Arbaugh checked the {10-Hearts} turn. He then called 150,000 from Boas, and both checked the {4-Spades} river.

"Pair," Arbaugh said.

Boas flipped {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Arbaugh sighed and mucked.

Arbaugh Takes Four-Bet Pot from Boas

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Brian Arbaugh opened for 80,000 in middle position, and Toby Boas made it 175,000 on his left. Arbaugh four-bet to 430,000, and Boas thought awhile and called. The two checked the {4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop and saw a {3-Spades} turn. Arbaugh bet 300,000 and was called. Action went check-check on the {7-Diamonds}, and Arbaugh flipped {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Boas showed {j-}{j-}.

Wil Augenstein Eliminated in 8th Place ($11,669); Greg Raymer Eliminated in 9th Place ($8,047)

Wil Augenstein

Toby Boas opened for a raise on the button and then called a three-bet to 140,000 from Greg Raymer. Both players checked the flop, and the turn made the board {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Raymer check-called 160,000, and a {3-Hearts} hit the river. Raymer checked again, and Boas bet 200,000. Raymer called immediately, and Boas showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair. Raymer mucked {a-Clubs} face-up.

"Only hand I was worried about," he said.

The next hand, Wil Augenstein opened for 70,000 under the gun, and Jeff Klein called. Boas made it 170,000 to go, and Raymer called off for 100,000. Augenstein shoved, and Boas snap-called.

"I hope I don't have to get too lucky," Raymer said. He would indeed need to.

Boas: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Augenstein: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Raymer: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Boas' kings were well poised for two knockouts, and it came to be when the board ran out {3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}.
