Kevin Eyster raised to 2,400 from early position and Nathan Finger defended from the big blind to see a flop, which they both checked. When the appeared on the turn, Finger bet 3,500, Eyster called, and the completed the board on the river.
Finger bet again, this time 12,000, and Eyster thought long and hard before making the call.
"I got lucky, man," Finger said before showing his for a rivered straight. Eyster mucked his hand.
After a player limped, Rick McGown, who was working with a big stack most of the day, raised to 10,000 and cleared the field to Ben Keeline, who three-bet to 34,000 from the big blind. The limper folded, McGown called, and it was heads-up action to the flop.
Keeline checked, McGown shoved all in for 56,000, and Keeline snap-called.

McGown picked a bad spot, and he was eliminated from the tournament after the turn and river both bricked. That pot took Keeline to 175,000, but he scored another elimination mere minutes later to vault up to 240,000!
We saw Jeff Fielder's seat was open, and a quick check with Phil Mader confirmed that he had been eliminated.
According to Mader, a player raised, David Gutfreund flatted, and Fielder shoved all in for 24,400. Another player moved all in over the top, the original raiser folded, and Gutfreund called.

The board ran out and Gutfreund and the other player chopped up Fielder's chips.
While Fielder's Day 1b run came to an end, he isn't done with poker yet as he's opted to jump into the Turbo Main Event satellite.
Action folded to Kevin Eyster on the button and he open-shoved for 22,200. The player in the small blind folded, but the one in the big made a quick call.
