Hodge Folds a Big One
Level 11
: 600/1,200, 200 ante
Big blind Brian Zupancich three-bet to 7,700 preflop after Mark Hodge opened early, and Hodge called. The flop brought , and a tiny continuation-bet of 3,500 from Zupancich. Hodge called, and a hit the turn. Zupancich shoved all in, and Hodge asked for a count. It was 30,000, and Hodge decided to lay down his face-up.
"You showed me, I'll show you," Zupancich said, turning up for top set on the flop. He asked why Hodge didn't shove the flop.
Hodge said the 3,500 made him suspicious.
