Yen Takes Limped Pot with Two Pair

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Drake Espenlaub completed the blind, and Alex Yen checked. Espenlaub bet 55,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop, and Yen called. Both checked the {5-Diamonds} turn, and a {k-Hearts} completed the board. Espenlaub checked before snapping a 125,000 bet from Yen.

Yen showed {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for kings up.

Espenlaub Healthy Again

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Drake Espenlaub's comeback from under two big blinds is complete, as he's no longer the shortest stack.

Dale Sudduth raised the button to 80,000, and Charlie Dawson called. Espenlaub shipped for 385,000, and Sudduth folded.

"Screw it, I'm gonna gamble," Dawson said as he shoved in.

Dawson: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Espenlaub: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

"Aw, you've got me crushed," Dawson said upon seeing his foe's hand.

The {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board kept Espenlaub best.

Espenlaub Doubles Again

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

After bluffing off about half of his stack in the previous hand, Drake Espenlaub shoved over a button raise from Charlie Dawson and was called.

Dawson: {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Espenlaub: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Espenlaub flopped a set as the dealer placed {4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} on board.

"Bingo," he said.

The {j-Diamonds} turn left Dawson dead.

Sudduth's Hero Call Cripples Espenlaub

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Dale Sudduth made a nice call.
Dale Sudduth made a nice call.

Dale Sudduth raised to 80,000 on the button, and Drake Espenlaub called in the big blind. Espenlaub check-called 100,000 from Sudduth on the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop. On the {q-Clubs} turn, Espenlaub checked, Sudduth bet 150,000, and Espenlaub shoved all in for about 350,000 more. Sudduth thought for about a minute an announced a call.

"Good call," Espenlaub said, showing {8-Spades}{7-Hearts} for second pair.

Sudduth also had eights, {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The {10-Diamonds} river kept his kicked as the winner, and Sudduth was down to 55,000. He doubled up the next two hands when his ace-high held versus live cards both times.

One for Dawson

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Charlie Dawson made it 75,000 under the gun and was called by both blinds. Alex Yen led out for 75,000 on the {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, and Dale Sudduth mucked. Dawson called, and the two saw a {4-Spades} turn. Yen checked, then folded to 100,000 from Dawson.
