David Sutton Eliminated in 9th Place ($9,414)

David Sutton was just eliminated from the tournament in ninth place after a series of two hands.

On Hand #15 of the final table, Sutton opened for 100,000 and then called when Rob Edelstein moved all in for 435,000.

Sutton got it in good, but Edelstein managed to take the lead on the flop. Neither the turn nor river helped Sutton, and he was left with just 110,000.

In the very next hand, Paul Mattioda opened for 70,000 and then called when Sutton moved all in for 106,000 total from the big blind.

The flop was no help to Sutton, but the turn actually gave him a flush draw. It didn't come in though as the blanked on the river and Mattioda won the pot with a pair of jacks. Sutton wished the table luck and then made his way to the payout desk to collect $9,414 for his ninth-place finish.
