Danny Gonzales Eliminated in 3rd Place ($43,035)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Danny Ray Gonzales - Third Place
Danny Ray Gonzales - Third Place

Dan Colpoys shoved all in from the small blind, and Danny Gonzales called it off.

Gonzales: {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Colpoys: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Gonzales was trying for his second double with live cards, but a {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop gave him nothing. The {5-Clubs} didn't help either, but his sizable rail still seemed to believe the double was coming. They were disappointed when the {2-Spades} hit the board, leaving Gonzales out in third.

Kris Wagner Eliminated in 4th Place ($29,445)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Kris Wagner - Fourth Place
Kris Wagner - Fourth Place

Kris Wagner opened to 175,000 on the button, and Jonathan McCray three-bet all in. Wagner called off his stack.

Wagner: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
McCray: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Wagner was in trouble, and the {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop only worsened things by giving his opponent a flush draw. A {9-Diamonds} hit the board, changing nothing, and a {3-Hearts} river cinched it for McCray by giving him the nut flush.

Colpoys Loses Value in River Ruling

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Jonathan McCray limped, and Dan Colpoys raised to 175,000. McCray called, and the two took in a {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop. McCray bet 100,000, and Colpoys called. A {9-Clubs} turned, and McCray bet 100,000 again. Colpoys raised to 350,000, and McCray called. A {k-Spades} completed the board, and McCray checked.

"Same bet," Colpoys said, tossing two green T25,000 chips in before his yellow T100,000 chips.

The dealer called for the floor, who ruled that it was a min-bet. At this Colpoys got upset, correctly pointing out that none of the players had called for the floor in the first place. The floor said the ruling stood, and McCray called with {a-}{8-}, losing to Colpoys' {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Colpoys Calls Wagner's Raise

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Colpoys doubled the big blind in the small, and Kris Wagner defended. Colpoys bet 100,000 again on the {3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, and Wagner called. He fired 125,000 on the {j-Clubs} turn, and Wagner popped it to 410,000. Colpoys called, and a {4-Hearts} two-paired the board. Two checks ensued, and Colpoys showed {5-Spades}{4-Clubs} for the underfull, which was good.

Colpoys Raises Fourth and Fifth

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jonathan McCray bet 100,000 with the board reading {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Dan Colpoys raised to 300,000, and McCray called. A {6-Diamonds} fell on the river, and McCray bet another 100,000. Colpoys made it 500,000 this time, and McCray called right away.

Colpoys showed {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a turned full house, and McCray had {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the underfull.

Colpoys has more than half of the chips in play.

Kou Vang Eliminated in 5th Place ($22,650)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Kou Vang - Fifth Place
Kou Vang - Fifth Place

Kou Vang made this third straight Mid-States Poker Tour final table, but for the third straight time, he walked away without the title.

Dan Colpoys opened for 125,000 in the cutoff, and Kris Wagner three-bet to 310,000 on the button. Kou Vang woke up with an all-in four-bet to 660,000 from the small blind, and both Colpoys and Wagner called.

The two active players checked down the {4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} board.

"Two jacks," Colpoys said, showing {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Wagner mucked his cards, and Vang raised up the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and tossed them into the middle face up.

William Givens Eliminated in 6th Place ($15,885)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
William Givens - Sixth Place
William Givens - Sixth Place

In a five-way limp pot, the blinds checked to Jonathan McCray, who bet 50,000 on a {9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. Action folded to William Givens in the small blind, who pushed all in for 190,000 total. The big blind folded, and McCray called.

McCray: {a-}{j-}
Givens: {k-}{8-}

The dealer wasted no time shipping McCray his three-outer, as the {a-Spades} hit the board on the turn. A {3-Hearts} ended Givens' tournament in sixth.
