Former MSPT Champ Takes A Hit
In one of the last hands of level 7, TJ Ryan followed two limpers with a limp of his own from the hijack and Steve Viramt checked his option in the big blind to make it a four-way flop. The flop was rainbow, Viramt checked and one of the limpers led out for 2,500. Ryan and Viramt called and saw the turn come the , putting a second diamond on the board. The action was checked to Ryan who bet 3,100. Viramt called, the other player folded, and they were heads up to the river.
The fell on the river and Viramt once again checked the action to Ryan who fired 5,500. Viramt called the bet, Ryan showed pocket tens and Viramt turned over for trips and the pot. Ryan, a former MSPT champion is now below the starting stack and Viramt is up to over 56,000.
