Salvatore Plays Queens in an Interesting Way

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Vince Salvatore limped in from under the gun, and when it folded to the the player on the button, he limped as well. Then Ronald Miller raised to 2,100 in the small blind, and after the big blind folded, Salvatore made the call. The button folded to leave the players heads up.

Both players checked after the 9A7 flop, which brought the 5 on the turn. Miller then bet out 2,100 which was called by Salvatore.

Both players checked the J river. Salvatore turned over QQ which shocked Miller, who jokingly said "You play queens like that?" as he tossed 1010 in the muck. Salvatore laughed and said "It was ill-advised, and now we see why".
