After a few hands where Hervé Gouzil extended his short lead, Mario Perati opened to 2,100,000 from the button and Gouzil defended from the big blind.

On the 5♣ river, Gouzil led out for 1,800,000. Perati went deep into the tank and called with J♦6♦ for jack-high and a pair. Gouzil only had 6♣4♠.
