Championnat de France

There were 553 entrants at the starting line of the €1,000 French Championship Main Event, here at Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence. Out of them, only 47 players qualified for Day 3. But by the end of tonight, only eight will have to remain to form the final table of the tournament.

On Day 2, where the bubble burst, Ruben Padovani stayed under the radar most of the day, but made a comeback on the last hand to become the new chip leader with 1,600,000 chips. However, he is closely followed by Heni Mokni (1,405,000), Hugues Girard (1,395,000), and Pierre Basile (1,390,000).
