Three-way in a limped pot, Cecile Ticherfatine in the big blind led out for 1,000 on the 10♥9♠8♥ flop. She was called by Yannick Lalou in early position and Alexis Rozenblat in the small blind.

Ticherfatine fired a second barrel of 3,500 on the Q♠ turn, then bet 12,000 on the Q♦ river.

Lalou called each time, but sent his cards into the muck when Ticherfatine showed K♦J♥ for a straight.

After an open to 1,100 by the player under the gun, Raphael Cros in the small blind three-bet to 4,500. Philippe Rup in the big blind called, as well as the under the gun player.

The dealer fanned a flop of 5♣7♥3♦. Cros bet 5,000 and was called by Rup. However the third player decided to fold.

On the 5♥ turn, Cros bet 65,000, more than Rup's stack. Facing this bet, Rup folded.

The 6♥ completed the board but brought no action. First player to turn over his cards, the big blind showed A♠Q♣. Baqal's cards went into the muck.

Moments after he arrived in the tournament, Julien Mariani opened to 800 from middle position and Ian Buttigieg defended from the big blind.

On a board of 7♣Q♦10♠2♦, Mariani continued for 1,000, then fired a second barrel of 2,900. Buttigieg check-called both times.

The 3♦ completed the board and after Buttigieg checked, Mariani bet 4,100. Buttigieg went into the tank and called. But his cards went into the muck when Mariani revealed Q♣5♣ for a pair.

Rachid El Yaacoubi opened to 600 from under the gun. Samuel Bifarella called from the big blind, and so did both players in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of 7♦10♠10♥ where everybody checked to Bifarella who bet 1,300. The blinds folded but El Yaacoubi made the call.

After two quick checked on the 10♣ turn, El Yaacoubi led out for 3,100 on the A♠ river. Bifarella folded.

Both the big blind and Mazet checked the 10♣8♥7♣ flop, but Etienne bet 1,000. The big blind called while Mazet's cards went into the muck.

Etienne and the big blind checked the 5♠ turn, and the 2♥ river brought no more action.

Etienne then revealed Kx9x saying that the flop "looked nice" for her, but she lost against the big blind's A♦7♦.
