Vance Running Hot

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The board read {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} when Tim Vance moved all in for over a million into a pot around 850,000 against Peter Mancini. After quite some time Mancini folded {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} face up and Vance returned the favor, showing {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for an over pair.

Vance has been running absolutely fantastic during the last round of play and now sits atop the leader board after Mancini made that fold.

Vance Doubles Through Mancini

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The flop read {2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} when Peter Mancini moved all in and Tim Vance was faced with a decision for his tournament life. Vance thought for several moments before making the call for his remaining 704,000.

Vance tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top pair top kicker and Mancini let out a smile as he turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for nothing but an attempted bluff. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn and {6-Spades} on the river changed nothing. Mancini tried to push Vance around but he stood his ground and found a double up in the process of doing so.

Jason James Eliminated in 7th Place ($7,913)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jason James Fall Poker Classic Final Table
Jason James Fall Poker Classic Final Table

Victor Adams opened to 50,000 from under the gun and when action got around to Jason James in the small blind he moved all in for around 300,000. Adams quickly made the call and the players turned over their hands with James at risk of elimination.

Victor Adams: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Jason James: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The flop came down with some hope for James when the dealer turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}, but the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and {5-Hearts} on the river did not help him as he was eliminated by Adams and his aces.

Mancini Takes Some from James

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jason James opened to 45,000 from under the gun, Peter Mancini called from the button and the dealer fanned out a {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop. James pushed in 75,000, Mancini snap-called and the turn fell a {3-Clubs}.

James checked to Mancini who pushed 100,000 into the middle and James quickly made the fold, giving Mancini the pot.

Rozin Goes for Value on the River

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The turned board read {2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, action checked to Vadim Rozin on the button who bet 125,000 into a pot around 250,000. Tim Vance check-called the bet from the big blind position and a {2-Diamonds} landed on the river.

Vance would check-call a bet of 125,000, turning over {10-Clubs}{7-Spades} for deuces full of sevens but it was not good enough after Rozin showed {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a higher full house, taking down the pot from Vance and moving himself into the chip lead.
