On the Bubble!

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

With the recent eliminations of Omar Stefanini in 21st place and Alan Findlay in 20th place, the tournament is now on the money bubble.

Stefanini got his remaining chips in with {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} with a short stack and couldn't improve against Jeffrey Hobrecker's pocket sevens and was eliminated.

Findlay was all in before the flop with {a-}{8-} against Dan Wagner's {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The board ran out ace high and Findlay was eliminated.

With 19 players remaining, there will now be a re-draw for seats.

George Crozier is King

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Action folded around to Dan Wagner in late position and he raised to 11,000. The button called and George Crozier moved all in for 71,000 from the small blind. Wagner called and the button folded.

Crozier: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Wagner: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Crozier secured the double up.

The Mayor is Running Things

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Mike Rellinger
Mike Rellinger

Mike 'The Mayor' Rellinger is on a tear. He was down to just 30,000 chips on the dinner break and after almost 30 minutes he is the new chip leader, edging Dan Wagner out by a hair.

On a board reading {J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, with about 60,000 in the middle, the big blind checked, as did Rellinger from under the gun. Leo Kaplan was in late position and bet 13,000. The big blind and Rellinger both called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}. The big blind checked and Rellinger immediately fired out a bet of 50,000. Kaplan cut out some chips and thought about it for a moment before releasing his hand. The big blind folded and Rellinger raked in the pot.
