Beshay Called His Shot
Level 12
: 800/1,600, 200 ante
Peter Beshay stopped by the Niagara Falls Poker Room on Friday to call his shot, claiming he would win the 2016 Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam Main Event.
He actually signed up to play today and things are going according to his plan. A few moments ago he joined the small blind in defending his big blind against a 3,500-chip open from Charles Johnson. The blinds checked to Johnson on a flop, and he continued for 5,500.
The small blind folded and Beshay check-raised, making it 13,000. Johnson called, but when Beshay open-jammed the turn, he folded, allowing Beshay to push his stack up to 155,000 and a spot near the top of the leaderboard.
