Plummer Flushed

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Tom Guindon
Tom Guindon

After dominating the first part of the day here, jumping out to a huge chip lead, Tom Guindon is gone before the money.

The man they call Plummer won every hand he played in the early going, and appeared to lose every one he played at the final two tables.

He finally got the last of his chips in drawing dead, with Mark Roberts holding the nut straight and nut-flush redraw versus Guindon's same, but much lower, flush draw.

With ten players remaining, they are at two tables of five and will combine when they lose two more.

Updated Counts

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Elvis Palmeri has made a big move up the leaderboard here, after getting down to just 1,500 chips. He went all-in blind three times to build a stack, and can't seem to lose a hand now.

Olivo Busts Biggar

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Steve Biggar
Steve Biggar

Steve Biggar opened with two kings in his hand. Domenic Olivo misclick-called with the {6-}{5-}{2-}{3-}, not realizing the size of the bet.

Then he flopped two pair on a {10-}{2-}{3-} board.

They got it in, two pair held to relieve Biggar of his stack and move Olivo up the ladder a little.

Santos Sunk

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Marty Santos blinded down to 9,500 and Mark Roberts opened to that amount with Santos in the big blind. Evan Shaughnessy called from the small blind and Santos called all in.

Shaughnessy and Roberts checked down a {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board to the river, where Shaughnessy bet 10,000. Roberts snap-called with the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} in his hand for the flush. Shaughnessy mucked and Santos had flopped a straight and turned trip kings before being run down on the river

LaRouech Felts Elias

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Joseph Elia got on another heater to run it back up, then limped in from early position. Ray LaRouech came in from the button and Steve Biggar checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and it checked around. It checked to Elias on the {q-Hearts} turn, and he made it 9,000. Only LaRouech called and the river came the {5-Hearts}. Elias made it 15,000, LaRouech potted all in, and Elias called all in for a little less with a set of kings.

LaRouech had the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} in his hand and the Broadway straight was good, sending Elias out and giving LaRouech a spot close to the leaders.

Olivo and Reinhardt Lead

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Domenic Olivo
Domenic Olivo

After an {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop was checked to Joseph Elia five-handed on the button, he potted to 18,000. Domenic Olivo repotted to 65,000 and the rest folded.

Elia called, but then folded when Olivo shoved the {8-Hearts} turn. leaving him short and pushing Oliva up to 200,000.

In the meantime, Abe Reinhardt is running over the other table moving into a dead-heat with Olivo for the lead.
