Dinner Break!
The players are off on a 45-minute dinner break, enjoying a fabulous buffet courtesy of the Niagara Falls Poker Room.
When play resumes at approximately 7:10 p.m. local time, the registration and re-entry period for this event will officially close. Although there is a second Day 1 flight set for tomorrow at 11 a.m. local time.
In the meantime, it appears defending Seneca Niagara Fall Poker Classic champ Rick Block is among the current chip leaders.
Block came all the way up from Alden, NY to defend his title today, and it appears he's making a legitimate run at it, considering his Friday's are usually spent throwing back Genny Lights at the Alden Bowling Center.
But the man on top right now is Niagara Falls, NY's own Andy Ranaletti. He cracked aces flopping trips with the on a board to climb the counts. Then he rivered tens full against trips to drag a massive pot and move into the lead heading into the break.
